In order to attract more high-quality young people into the military camp, the Opinions stipulate that non-Shanghai registered college students who have performed well during their service in the army, graduated from undergraduate or graduate schools, and implemented employment units in Shanghai can directly apply for Shanghai household registration; Undergraduate students enlisted in the army will take the national unified postgraduate entrance examination in Shanghai universities within 3 years after graduation, with a total score of10; Undergraduate students who have obtained personal merit citation class II or above can walk the graduate students of this major without taking the test after graduation; Higher vocational (junior college) students who are enlisted in the army can enter adult undergraduate study without examination after graduation; Higher vocational (junior college) students who have won the personal third-class merit award in the army can transfer to our university for undergraduate study with the same major or similar major without examination after graduation.
The "Opinions" clarify that the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Vocational Education and Skills Training for Retired Soldiers in Shanghai" will be formulated to implement separate registration, separate proposition, separate examination and separate admission for non-college soldiers in this city who have been retired for two years, and tuition and fees will be exempted during school.
