Every time I see the oil price adjustment window is about to open, I think WEY's (prospective) car owners must be very upset. As the leader of luxury SUV in China, WEY's desire for luxury includes fuel consumption.
Before I went to test drive VV6, I specially wrote a report about VV6, which talked about the fuel consumption of VV6. This is not surprising. Looking at the configuration table alone, VV6 really doesn't save much fuel. As a compact SUV, the fuel consumption of 7.4L/ 100km (according to the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) is close to that of its big brother VV7. It feels like you are driving a Toyota RAV4 but adding Highlander's gas money. Not very cost-effective!
Is it really that expensive? Let's do a fuel consumption test.
This time I drove a VV6 (four-wheel drive version) with four people, and the air conditioner was set at 25℃. Starting from Guangzhou University Town, we first circled the suburban section of the University Town, then quickly went to Nansha Port from Luntou Toll Station and turned back at Fuan Toll Station, with a total distance of nearly 100km.
The road conditions in this section are very good, there are few cars and people, and you can basically run at a speed limit. The fuel consumption estimation of the test is the ideal result that VV6 can run, so this result is for reference only.
Although this result is for reference only, we also adopt a more rigorous test method, that is, we fill up the fuel tank at the gas station, and then fill it up after running. We not only look at the fuel consumption data displayed on the dashboard, but also divide the amount displayed at the gas station by the total mileage of this test to get the approximate amount per kilometer.
Fuel consumption test is generally boring, but fortunately it is not too tired, because VV6 has ACC full-speed adaptive cruise, and it is the second lowest standard, and there are many active safety technologies to escort you, such as ICA intelligent cruise assist, LCK lane keeping assist system, LDW lane departure warning system and LKA lane keeping assist system. ...
What needs to be mentioned here is the lane keeping system of VV6, which has a strong sense of intervention. I think VV6 has reached the L2 level of autonomous driving. Even if you let go of your hands, it can turn automatically according to the lane. Of course, this is not allowed on VV6.
