As of April 2023, the school has more than 3 100 faculty members, including 4 academicians of China Academy of Sciences, 5 double-hired academicians (professors), 1 academician of international history of science, 1 academician of developing countries' Academy of Sciences, 1 1 person, and 2 winners of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. There are 17 candidates for the national "100 million talents project", 4 national famous teachers, 25 talents supported by the Ministry of Education in the new century, and 6 young and middle-aged leading talents in scientific and technological innovation by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
