The film "Love Song of Kangding" tells the 60-year love story between Li, a soldier of the People's Liberation Army, and Dawa, a Tibetan girl. She is steadfast in all kinds of hardships to reflect the social changes since the establishment of Ganzi Prefecture in Tibet.

A spring thunder of 1949 awakened the snow-capped mountain that had been sleeping for a long time, and an earth-shaking change was brewing in this ancient and mysterious land. /kloc-one day in 0/950, Ganzi, located in the southwest of Sichuan, welcomed a red team. The People's Liberation Army entered here and began to build the sichuan-tibet railway, connecting Tibetan areas with the outside world.

Li (), a geological technician who just graduated from university, came with the army and enthusiastically served the motherland. By chance, the PLA rescued a nobleman who fell into the water.
