There are 3 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites 1, 43 Guangdong first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 5 national specialty, national specialty comprehensive reform pilot specialty 1, national talent training mode innovation experimental zone 1, national college students' practice teaching base1,and national specialty1. Won 5 national teaching achievement awards and 53 provincial teaching achievement awards. The construction of the "golden curriculum" system has achieved remarkable results. There are national first-class undergraduate courses 10, 44 provincial first-class undergraduate courses, 73 provincial series of excellent courses, and 200 courses that are interconnected with world-class university courses and have mutual recognition of credits. We will implement a new model of cultivating top-notch talents and set up 33 experimental classes for top-notch innovative talents.
The "Three Creative Camps" Creative Space has been approved as a national creative space, and students' achievements in national innovation and entrepreneurship competitions such as "internet plus", "Challenge Cup" and "Creating Youth" rank among the top universities in Guangdong and even similar universities in China. The employment quality of graduates has steadily improved. In the past three years, the average initial employment rate of undergraduates was 90.9%, and the overall satisfaction of employers was 98.7%, with more than 95% rooted in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
