The College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1960. It is a provincial full-time technical secondary school of traditional Chinese medicine, with more than full-time and part-time teachers 100. Among them, 60% have senior titles above associate professor, and 35% have intermediate titles. There are national vocational skill appraisal institute, health massage skill and appraisal center of acupuncture school, health massage practice base inside and outside the province, and nursing education and training center of traditional Chinese and western medicine in Sichuan Province. Longquan Teaching Department is located in Longquan Sunshine University Town, with a campus area of nearly 100 mu and more than 2,000 students. It is adjacent to Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology, Sichuan International Advertising College and Sichuan University. The teaching facilities on campus are well equipped, with fully functional anatomy laboratory, physiological and pathological laboratory, operating room, basic nursing laboratory, ICU ward, acupuncture and massage laboratory, specimen showroom, more than 300 electronic reading rooms, fitness room, multimedia classroom and other instruments and equipment that can meet the experimental learning requirements of all levels and majors.
