Department of Basic Mathematics

In order to lay the foundation for training mathematics professionals, the department actively carries out research on basic mathematics theory and trains talents of basic mathematics theory. The department has teachers 15, including 5 professors. His main research interests are: algebra, combinatorics, differential equations, theory of complex variable functions, etc. There are master's and doctoral programs in basic mathematics. The department attaches importance to discipline construction and scientific research. Department of applied mathematics

In order to cultivate students' mathematical basic theory, the department focuses on cultivating students' ability to solve practical problems by using mathematical knowledge. Make graduates have a solid and extensive mathematical foundation, engage in scientific research and teaching related to applied mathematics, or use mathematics and computers to solve practical problems in engineering, economy, finance and other departments.

There are 17 teachers in this department, most of whom have doctoral degrees or are studying for doctoral degrees. The main research directions are: functional differential equations, partial differential equations, graph theory, computer applications, etc. Existing master's degree programs in applied mathematics. Department of Information and Computing Science

The main research directions are: computational complexity, computational intelligence, numerical algebra, bioinformatics and so on. Existing master program of computational mathematics. Probability and statistics department

In order to train students to have good knowledge of mathematics and economics, master the basic theories and methods of statistics, skillfully use computers to analyze data, engage in the development, application and management of statistical investigation, statistical information management and quantitative analysis in enterprises, institutions and economic management departments, or engage in research and teaching in scientific research and education departments. The main research directions are: probability theory, mathematical statistics, economic forecasting and decision-making. Existing master's degree in probability and statistics. Higher mathematics teaching department

The teaching department of advanced mathematics is responsible for the teaching task of advanced mathematics for science and engineering liberal arts undergraduates.
