Obstetrics in our hospital is one of the national key disciplines. 1993 was designated as a baby-friendly hospital by the World Health Organization, and was awarded as an advanced collective in Xicheng District over the years. She has three wards, 60 beds and more than 60 medical staff, including three famous professors, doctors and master students. There are cytogenetics laboratory, remote monitoring center, ultrasonic diagnosis center, perinatal health care center, modern waiting room and delivery room, neonatal touching center and other facilities. It integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and nursing, and provides systematic prenatal care, high-risk pregnancy monitoring, prenatal consultation, accompanying delivery, painless delivery, mother-infant sharing room, family ward, holistic nursing and breastfeeding consultation.
Close cooperation with pediatrics, neonatal ward and intensive care unit provides convenient conditions for monitoring high-risk newborns such as premature delivery. Hospitals, surgical departments and other departments have provided a strong backing for the diagnosis and treatment of obstetric complications, which has enabled the obstetrics department of our hospital to have comprehensive capabilities such as rescue of critically ill pregnant women, diagnosis and treatment of difficult diseases, and prenatal diagnosis. If the mother has any questions after discharge, she can also call for advice. When they return to the clinic 42 days after delivery, well-known infant experts are responsible for guiding infant feeding, physical training and early intellectual development.
There are obstetricians, genetic counseling experts, perinatal care experts, reproductive tract infection experts, neonatal experts and attending doctors at different times every week. The main services include: prenatal consultation, pregnancy care, high-risk pregnancy management, postpartum maternal and child follow-up and health guidance. The outpatient service adopts the management mode of one-stop service, and provides health care, prenatal and postnatal care consultation, regular examination, special examination, special health care, special monitoring and treatment for high-risk pregnancy (patients with internal surgery and obstetric complications) from the early pregnancy.
