Ying Zhong College of Xi Jiaotong University was established in July 2008. It is a college named after Mr. Tang with the strong support of internationally renowned philanthropist, chairman of Down's Industrial Group and foundation. The Dean is Ms. Xu, Executive Director of the Foundation.

The college is located on the east side of Kangqiao Garden in Xingqing Campus of Xi Jiaotong University. It consists of four eight-story apartments, which are connected with each other to form a "back" structure. There is a courtyard square in the center of the apartment. There are public service facilities such as party and group activity room, reading room, reference room, conference room, heart-to-heart room, study and discussion room, art rehearsal room, chess room and gym. These courses are open to all students of Xi Jiaotong University.

At present, the college has 3045 students. Professional coverage 13 majors, including automation science and technology, nuclear technology and engineering, chemical engineering and technology, process equipment and control engineering, environmental engineering, new energy science and engineering, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, life science and technology national base class (master's degree), management science and engineering, international registered accounting direction (ACCA), software engineering and Qian Xuesen experimental class.

There are full-time teachers 16 in the college, and a team of academic tutors composed of college professors, professional tutors and ordinary tutors has been selected, which together with the senior students constitute a perfect all-staff education team of Ying Zhong College.
