1932 Liu Changchun, a track and field athlete at the Los Angeles Olympic Games, became the first person in China to participate in the Olympic Games. Liu Changchun (1909165438+1October 25th-1March 25th, 983) is a famous track and field athlete and sports educator in the modern sports history of China. The first China athlete to officially participate in the Olympic Games.
1929 From May 3rd to June 2nd, Liu Changchun broke the national record of100m, 200m and 400m at the14th North China Games held in Shenyang, with the scores of10.8s, 22.4s and 400m respectively.
Because the family was poor, Liu Changchun 10 entered primary school. The school is more than 10 miles away from home. In order to save shoes, Liu Changchun took off his shoes as soon as he went out and ran barefoot to school. In primary school, Liu Changchun broke the short-distance running record of primary school students in Dalian with a time of 100 m1.8 seconds, 400 m and 59 seconds.
1923, 14-year-old Liu Changchun won the first place in the "Guandong Island Land Games" held by the Japanese ruling authorities with 1 1.8 seconds and 59 seconds respectively.

1, Changchun College of Dalian University of Technology
Changchun University is named after Professor Liu Changchun, the "first person in China Olympic Games". The college takes "honesty, friendliness, integrity, diligence, thoughtfulness and sensitivity" as its motto, and advocates honesty, simplicity, friendliness, integrity, diligence, eagerness to learn, prudence and sensitivity.
Changchun Academy, located in Panjin Campus, consists of three student apartments, B 15, B 17 and B 19, of which B 15 and B 19 are undergraduate male apartments and B 17 is undergraduate female apartments.
2. Liu Dalian University of Technology Changchun Gymnasium
In June 2003, the Liu Changchun Gymnasium of Dalian University of Technology named after Professor Liu Changchun was officially completed and put into use. In addition, a bronze statue of China sports pioneer Professor Liu Changchun inscribed by Comrade Rong Gaotang was erected in front of the main building of Dalian University of Technology.
3. Northeastern University Changchun Gymnasium
On June 13, 2008, the gymnasium named after Liu Changchun, the first person in China Olympic Games, was completed in Northeastern University. A bronze statue of Liu Changchun stands in the West Square outside the stadium. This statue is based on the photo of Liu Changchun's right foot landing at the 10th Los Angeles Olympic Games. The portrait is 2.7m high and the marble base is 1.9m high.
Commemorate Liu Changchun, who grew up on the stage of Northeastern University as the "first person in China Olympic Games", and encourage the students in the school to strive for success and carry forward the Olympic spirit of "surpassing themselves and fighting bravely".
