Stomatological education in China Medical University began in 1948, stomatology was established in 1985, stomatological hospital was established in 1987, and stomatological college was established in 1998. In September, 2004, a 9-story comprehensive building integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research was completed and put into use, with a building area of10.2 million square meters, located in the north of Zhongshan Square in the central area of Shenyang.
