In the first stage (semester 1-5), students study in East China University of Science and Technology (some core courses are undertaken by German professors), and students complete and get all the course credits in the first stage as required. At the end of the fourth semester, you must pass the English qualification examination for going abroad (the total score of IELTS in Class G is above 6.5, or TOEFL is above 7 1) before you can enter the second stage (6-8 semesters).
