Macard's Den-Meningen County borders Gotha County in the northeast, Ilm County and Sur City in the east, Hausen County in Hildeburg in the southeast, Rong-Grabots Field County in Bavaria in the south, Fulda County in Hesse in the west and Walterburg County in the northwest.
