Brief Introduction of Graduate School of Jiangxi Normal University;
The Graduate School of Jiangxi Normal University, located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is an institution directly under Jiangxi Normal University, a doctoral degree awarding unit, and the first batch of bachelor's and master's degree awarding units in China. The motto of the school is "Calm down, stick to the golden mean and be honest with each other".
In June, 2022, official website showed that there were 12 first-class disciplines, 1 doctoral degree authorization points (doctor of education), 5 postdoctoral mobile (work) stations, 33 first-class disciplines and 65,433 master's degree authorization points. There are 2698 staff members (including personnel agents).
The origin of Jiangxi Normal University;
Jiangxi Normal University originated from Bailudong Academy in Lushan Mountain. 1940 was founded as National Chung Cheng University, and 1949 was renamed as National Nanchang University. 1953 was renamed as Jiangxi Normal University, and 1983 was renamed as Jiangxi Normal University. After being handed down from generation to generation by scholars, Jiangxi Normal University has now developed into a school integrating literature, history, philosophy, economics, management, law, science, engineering and teaching.
Both normal and non-normal universities have great influence on the political, economic, cultural and social development of Jiangxi, and have been identified as provincial key comprehensive universities with priority development by the provincial government. The school has always attached importance to the quality of personnel training. Since 1999, the credit system has been reformed and the talent training mode has been continuously innovated.
