China south university of science and technology of china Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute was formally established in August 20 16. In order to highlight the school-running characteristics of "innovation, innovation and entrepreneurship", South University of Science and Technology combines the new trend of current scientific and technological innovation and the new requirements of personnel training to serve the construction of Shenzhen International Science, Technology and Industrial Innovation Center and national development. The college is committed to focusing on industrial research, cultivating high-end talents for innovation and entrepreneurship, and incubating high-tech enterprises.

With high standards and internationalization as the reference goal, Innovation and Entrepreneurship College has established a high-level faculty with 40 research-oriented professors as the core, more than 40 research-oriented professors from other departments and internationally renowned universities as the support, and more than 100 part-time industry professors as the support to realize high-level innovation and quality education.

At present, there are 23 full-time research professors, including 4 former directors and senior researchers of engineering research institutes and universities, 5 former senior scientists and technical directors of large enterprises, and 7 chairman of returnees venture company. More than 40 professors from the departments of machinery, materials, mathematics, biomedical engineering, electronics, computer and environment, including 2 academicians, actively participated in the transformation of Industry-University-Research. At present, 60 executives and experts from large enterprises, high-tech enterprises and engineering research institutes in the industry have been hired as industry professors and industry tutors, with the planned number exceeding 100.
