Kansai University, referred to as Guanda for short, was founded in 1886. It is a private university headquartered in Tian Kai, Osaka, Japan, and one of the four famous universities in West Japan.
Kansai University was formerly known as Kansai Law School. The main campus of the school in Li Qianshan was designed by Japanese architect Fujino. The natural environment with four distinct seasons, advanced facilities and equipment, and a large library in West Japan.
Kansai University is widely known for its high employment rate. With the slogan of "Going from Kansai University to the World", it has trained many knowledge leaders who have contributed to society, including the presidents or chairmen of many famous enterprises such as Panasonic, Toyota, AEON, KONAMI, Bandai Nanmeng Palace, Dongbao Co., Ltd., Asahi Radio, Yomiuri Shimbun, Dentsu Group, Industrial Bank of Japan, IBM of Japan, IDEC and so on.
The school actively promotes international education and cooperation. As early as 1983, we established friendly relations and cooperation with Fudan University in China, and opened the Shanghai Liaison Office of Kansai University in Fudan University. Later, it successively signed basic cooperation agreements with China universities such as Peking University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Xiamen University. Purdue University, London University, Manchester University, Australian National University and other world-class universities are also partners of Guanda University.
