Capital Normal University was founded in 1954, and its history can be traced back to Tongzhou Normal University, which was founded in 1905. It is a national "double-first-class" university, which is jointly established by Beijing and the Ministry of Education. The school's existing disciplines cover literature, science, engineering, management, law, teaching, foreign languages, art and so on. Over the past 60 years, it has trained more than 200,000 senior professionals in various fields, which is an important base for talent training in Beijing. Postgraduate education in Capital Normal University began at 1978, and doctoral students were trained at 1984. It is one of the second batch of doctoral degree authorized units in China.

Graduate students enrolled by Capital Normal University are divided into full-time graduate students and part-time graduate students according to their learning styles. Full-time graduate students study full-time in school within the prescribed study period. Part-time graduate students study for the professional degree of Master of Education in summer, and for the professional degrees of Master of Literature, Master of Public Administration, Master of Social Work and Master of Tourism Management within the time limit stipulated by the school. 20 19 part-time graduate students in our school only enroll students with the admission category of "directed employment", and part-time graduate students do not arrange accommodation.

Physical health status meets the physical examination requirements of "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Colleges and Universities".
The academic level of candidates must meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Undergraduate graduates with nationally recognized academic qualifications (including undergraduate graduates of adult higher education organized by ordinary universities and adult higher education institutions) and those who can graduate from self-study exams or online education at that time must obtain nationally recognized undergraduate graduation certificates before September 20 19 1, otherwise the admission qualification will be invalid.
(2) Persons with a nationally recognized undergraduate degree.
(3) Those who have obtained the nationally recognized diploma of higher vocational colleges for two years (graduated to 20 19, 1) or above must submit the original diploma and the original articles published in academic journals (not limited to disciplines) or the qualified transcripts of advanced undergraduate courses issued by the academic affairs departments of higher schools when applying for re-examination with the same academic qualifications.
(4) Persons who have obtained a master's or doctoral degree.
