Longhe Campus of Anhui University was built in 1950s, and still retains a number of old buildings with Soviet characteristics (such as the main teaching building). The campus is shaded by trees and the environment is harmonious. At present, Anhui University mainly includes teaching building, Shaw Library, Jinwen Building, Audio-visual Education Building, No.2 Dining Hall, No.3 Dining Hall, Ximen Sports Ground and several dormitory buildings.
Longhe Campus has beautiful scenery, with beautiful lakes and mountains, Chunhui Pavilion, Goose Pond and Eyeglasses Lake. At present, the campus mainly undertakes the teaching tasks of undergraduate students of Anhui University in literature, history, philosophy, network college, school of economics and management, and some graduate students of Anhui University in literature, history and philosophy.
There are nearly 2000 teachers and students of Anhui University, as well as middle schools affiliated to Anhui University and kindergartens of Anhui University. In order to create a better living environment, Anhui University has transformed the residential area.
