The People's Public Security University of China, referred to as the Public Security University for short, is located in Beijing. It is an ordinary institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security and a senior police officer college of the Ministry of Public Security.

Shanghai Police College, located in Shanghai, China, was established in June, 1949. It is the only public security college in Shanghai that trains high-quality applied police talents.

5. Jiangsu Police College

Jiangsu Police Officer College, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is an undergraduate college of public security politics and law in Jiangsu Province, and the first provincial-level undergraduate college of public security in China.
