What does the Japanese Department of International Education study?
Four universities in Japan have departments of international education:

Waseda University, sophia university, International Christian University, International Correctional University.

This is a new major. Basically, it is taught in English for four years, and one of them must study abroad (outside Japan).

The requirements of the International Department of Corrections vary greatly, in other words, it is difficult to enter. (refers to the Japanese. Maybe it is easier for international students to enter)

Internationally recognized major. Graduates mainly work in international institutions, Japanese domestic trading companies, banks, large-scale enterprises and so on.

If you want to work in the world, this is a good major.

(The answer comes from a university education-related person who has lived in Japan for 20 years. )
