Xi 'an University of Technology, located in the famous historical and cultural city Xi, is the only teaching-oriented, research-oriented, multidisciplinary and open university of science and technology in northwest China, which is characterized by military engineering, focusing on engineering and coordinating the development of literature, science, economics, management and law. It belongs to a university jointly established by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and China Ordnance Industry Corporation. In 2009, it was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as a project construction unit authorized by doctoral degree. In 20 10, it was recognized as a high-level teaching and research university in Shaanxi province. 20 1 10 was selected as the second batch of "excellent engineer education and training plan" universities of the Ministry of Education. The school has long been affiliated to the Ministry of Ordnance Industry, and it is the only institution of higher learning in ordnance industry deployed by the state in the northwest, shouldering the mission of cultivating senior talents and providing technical support for the national defense industry.

The teaching area of Xi University of Technology (12) has five campuses, namely Weiyang, Jinhua, Yanta, Hong Qing and Gaoling (under construction), covering an area of 1500 mu, with a construction area of 900,000 square meters, total fixed assets of 100 billion yuan, total teaching instruments and equipment of 200 million yuan, and books/klc.
