Birthplace of Confucius —— Travel Notes of Nishan Mountain in Qufu, Shandong Province
From Menglin to Nishan, I had a lot of trouble.

I have been to the "Three Holes" in Qufu before, and Nishan is here for the first time. Nishan is an abandoned land after Confucius was born. According to the records of Sima Qian and Confucius' family language, Confucius was a descendant of Cabbage in Shang Dynasty. By the sixth ancestor of Confucius, Kong "the fifth generation of relatives died, so he stopped being a public official" and no longer belonged to the royal family, so his surname became "Kong". Later, Kong was forced to find Lu. When I arrived in Shu, Confucius' father, my wife had given birth to nine daughters, and my concubine had given birth to a son named Meng Pi, but she was a cripple. 66-year-old Shu married 17-year-old girl Yan and gave birth to a son. It is said that Confucius was born with a strange appearance, his head was deformed, his middle was low and his sides were high, and he was abandoned in a small hole as a monster. This cave is the Confucius Cave in Nishan.

For China people, "If Zhong Ni was not born in the sky, all ages would last like night". It has become my great wish to visit the birthplace of Confucius in Nishan. However, before the trip, I found that the introduction of Nishan was all about the "Nishan Holy Land" scenic spot, and few of them involved Confucius Cave. Some people who have just been to Nishan don't even know what a Confucius Cave is. It is said that Nishan was contracted to a developer in the south to build a large-scale scenic spot featuring Confucianism, especially the large-scale performance "Jinshengyu Town" in the evening. However, I have seen all kinds of fake ancient cities and streets, and I have no interest in commercial buildings named "ancient".

In Nishan Scenic Area Square, there is a huge tourist center with many tourist buses parked in the parking lot. In terms of scale, it has far surpassed the "three monks" in Zoucheng. Tickets for daytime here are 120 yuan, and tickets for evening performances are extra. Because both Fuzi Cave and Nishan Academy are in Nishan Scenic Area, you have to buy big tickets anyway. But I refused to buy tickets for the evening performance. However, the vast majority of tourists are groups and basically watch the whole journey.

Sign in at the gate of the scenic spot, and then take the commuter bus to Nishan Holy Land. Just got off the bus, a scenic spot worker came to sell battery cars, each 20 yuan. I think the scenic area is not large, so it's no problem to walk around. So I went straight in with my bag. Most of the tourists who took the same car with me went to take the battery car. Actually, it's not necessary

At the end of the road is a school with lakes and mountains. Lake, named "holy water lake"; Mountain, named "Nishan"; Road, called "Master Long Beach". The lake was originally built as a reservoir in the 1960s. Five peaks of Mount Nishan stand around the reservoir, forming a unique natural landscape of "Five Peaks and Baini Mountain". The long embankment is divided into lanes and walkways, and the roadside is dotted with various flowers and trees. Strolling on it, on one side of the dike, the autumn wind blows the Buddha and the reed, and a huge bronze statue of Confucius stands on the hillside, like the mighty river in Linchuan, sighing: "The deceased is like a husband, and he will not give up day and night."

On the lake embankment, I walked along the direction guided by the bronze statue of Confucius. On the shore of this landscape painting, I walked leisurely on the lush land, and my mood suddenly became clear. When I finally saw the bronze statue of Confucius on the hillside, a straight climbing road was presented to me.

Through the stone archway of Nishan Holy Land, a nine-hole stone bridge appeared. On both sides of the bridge are "Panshui Lake", and the fountains in the lake dance with the music. The combination of "quietness" of natural scenery and "movement" of artificial landscaping is just right, which makes me have a good impression on the scenic spot.

The scenic spot is very large, and tourists are scattered among it, only occasionally seeing a few figures, giving people room for independent thinking. Confucius lived in an era of "ritual collapse and bad music". Confucius has been calling on people to "self-denial, courtesy and wisdom" all his life, and his "benevolence, righteousness, courtesy and wisdom" is as lonely and great as a candle in the dark. It was also a dark night. When I wrote this travel note, it was like seeing this sad old man standing under the boundless sky more than 2,000 years ago and feeling sad in the face of chaotic times.

Knowing that you can't do it, you are infatuated. A thousand years later, is he still sad?

Walk through the "sacred square", cross the "Ere gate", climb the "destiny avenue" and come to the foot of the bronze statue. Facing the 72-meter-high bronze statue, I once again realized the feeling of "the mountain is high". This statue draws lessons from Wu Daozi's Picture of Confucius in the Tang Dynasty, which is very close to the image of Confucius in my mind and looks like an elderly person. Confucius once said, "Wise men (learned) enjoy water while benevolent people enjoy Leshan", so let his old man always stand between mountains and rivers and witness the endless stream of Chinese civilization.

Go down from behind the statue of Confucius and come to the famous "University Hall". The university auditorium has nine floors and is more than 60 meters high. It is a combination of imitation Han dynasty architecture and modern architecture, and its appearance is magnificent.

In this huge building of more than 70,000 square meters, there are various functional divisions such as the welcoming hall, the staircase hall, the seventy-two immortals' gallery, the ritual hall, the justice hall, the benevolence hall, the wisdom hall, the letter hall and the ritual hall. Among them, the performance of Jin Shengyu Zhen was held in the Rite Hall. Seeing that the tourists inside were full, I didn't adapt at once. I followed the bustling tourists and visited them one by one. The architectural layout embodies the characteristics of Confucian culture, and the decoration is extremely luxurious. I was deeply shocked by the integration of Confucian education into the magnificent palace.

I changed my preconceived prejudice, and Nishan Holy Land Scenic Area is successful in scenic spot building and cultural inheritance. I even want to know, as the representative place of the most brilliant "a hundred schools of thought contend" in the history of China philosophy, whether Gong Xue, Xia Ji can learn from the experience of Nishan Holy Land and make it an attractive tourist attraction?

Leave the University Hall and take the scenic commuter bus to Nishan Confucius Temple, Nishan Academy and Fuzi Cave. They are on the tour route.

I divided Nishan Scenic Area into two parts, the newly-built Jinsheng Scenic Area and the ancient Nishan Academy Scenic Area. They have different positions, different landscape features and different feelings.

The newly-built Jinsheng Scenic Area is large in scale and magnificent, especially in line with the aesthetic characteristics of contemporary people. Especially as the main venue of 20 18 CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival, it became a punching place for network celebrities, which made many people know Nishan from then on, which was a great contribution. The traditional Nishan Academy scenic spot is suitable for people like me who like to visit the ancient times and recall the history scattered in a corner of the mountain.

The commuter car stopped at a small intersection between the mountains, and three or five tourists filed off. In a simple wooden pavilion on the roadside, a young staff member put down his mobile phone and came to register the tourists. This scene is in sharp contrast to the gorgeous noise just now, as if it were not a time and space. I just saw Confucius, an "internet celebrity", and now I'm going to see an old antique.

Going up the mountain along the finely divided mountain road, there are yellow and light green weeds on both sides of the road, and low trees are mixed among them, which has a feeling of being far away. Go up the stairs, cross the Lingxing Gate and come to Nishan Confucius Temple.

There was no one in the yard, and a few winding ancient trees, three bungalows with red columns and gray tiles, four stone tablets and passages paved with masonry immediately presented a quaint and unique scene.

Nishan Confucius Temple was built in the Xiande period of the Zhou Dynasty after the Five Dynasties, and it was repeatedly built and destroyed. Most of the buildings we see now are Ming and Qing buildings, and the scale is not large. The main building, Dacheng Hall, has a statue of Confucius in the middle, next to Yan Hui, Zeng Shen, Zi Si and Mencius. The temple was dark and gloomy.

Walking out of the temple, I was surprised to see a female worker walking back and forth in front of the left wing, wearing a half-length bordeaux coat and a mask. It's a little scary in this deserted place. I wonder if the boys registered in front of the mountain and the girls in the quiet ancient temple made any mistakes in their work and were sent here.

There is also a temple to worship Confucius' father (Uncle He). Then there is the Bedroom, which is dedicated to Confucius' mother's face, and the Yushenghou Temple is dedicated to the Nishan God. Nishan Academy, located more than 0/00 meters northeast of the temple, was founded in Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 1336). There are three main rooms and three east and west wing rooms in the courtyard, which are places to give lectures and commemorate Confucius. The main room is open, but there is a guardrail, so it is forbidden to enter. The wing just closed. It seems that few tourists patronize me, so I took a quick look and left.

Along the sign of Fuzi Cave, I meandered along Zhonghao Mountain. Finally came to an open place, I saw a low hole in the trees, surrounded by wooden fences on three sides, and a stone tablet next to it, which read "Confucius Cave".

In any case, no one would have thought that this baby, born in a cave more than two thousand years ago, had a far-reaching impact on the progress of the Chinese nation and became a grandmaster admired by thousands of people. The pilgrimage here has fulfilled one of my wishes.
