I am applying for a postgraduate degree in computer science at University of Science and Technology Beijing this year. Which tutor is better? Which direction is better for employment?
The computer of Beijing University of Science and Technology is quite good, depending on which direction you want to pursue, I recommend my tutor Qin Wang.

1982 graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing with a bachelor's degree in computer science;

1985 graduated from Peking University with a master's degree in computer science.

1998 graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing with a doctorate in computer science.

Since 1985, he has been teaching at University of Science and Technology Beijing, and now he is a professor in Computer Department of School of Information Engineering and director of Micro-architecture and Integrated Circuit Laboratory. During this period, from 2005 to 2007, I worked as a visiting scientist and a visiting scholar at Cornell University and Harvard University respectively. Research fields include: micro-architecture and multi-core system chips, low-power wireless sensor networks, networked embedded systems, etc. Completed the National 863 Project "Research and Development of Ultra-high-speed Microprocessor Chip" and the Beijing Science and Technology Major Project "Development of Interactive Cable Digital TV Channel Transmission Core Technology", designed the reconfigurable artificial neural network microprocessor and reconfigurable security chip architecture for industrial control, and designed the wireless sensor network for metallurgical equipment fault diagnosis. Published more than 0/00 papers/kloc-,obtained 7 patents from China, applied for US patent 1, and won the award of "Outstanding Young Teachers Funding Program" from the Ministry of Education.

International cooperation includes: cooperating with Professor Woodward Yang of Harvard University to study low-power wireless sensor network devices and indoor positioning systems, and cooperating with Professor Vojin G. Oklobdzija of University of California @ Davis to study multi-core devices and systems.

Existing projects include: 863 major project "industrial wireless standard and its application in process industry", 863 exploration project "application of wireless sensor network in deep-sea monitoring", "research on load adaptation of low-power heterogeneous multi-core network processor", Beijing major science and technology project "research and development of interactive priority digital TV SOC chip and its embedded software", indoor positioning technology and system, etc.

Academic part-time jobs include: director of China Computer Federation, member of Sensor Network Committee of Computer Society, editorial board of Computer Research and Development, etc. Members of the International Organization for Standardization ISA100.1A and IEEE 802. 15.4e and IEEE802. 15.4g are eligible to vote.
