There are only small hotels around Shangda, such as Lin Xue Hotel at the back door of New Century Dormitory. There are no youth hostels. You can ask about the happy new building on campus that specializes in receiving foreign guests. Also, don't worry about having no place to live, because there are large and small hotels around the four gates.
