Guangdong University of Technology is a provincial key university focusing on engineering, combining engineering, economics, management, law and art with multidisciplinary development, and a key construction university of high-level universities in Guangdong Province. 1958 started undergraduate education. 1995 was formed by the merger of Guangdong Institute of Technology, Guangdong Institute of Machinery and South China Institute of Architecture (East Campus). In 2022, academic ranking of world universities will have 40 1-500 soft subjects, and Times Higher Education will rank 49th-65th among universities in Chinese mainland.
The school is headquartered in Guangzhou, a famous city in the south of China. It has many campuses such as University Town, Dongfeng Road, Longdong, Panyu, Shahe and Jieyang, with a total area of more than 5,300 mu and a beautiful environment.
