China Central Radio and TV University (hereinafter referred to as CCTV) is an institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education that conducts open education for the whole country. Central Radio and TV University and 44 provincial radio and TV universities and their branches and teaching points have formed an open education and teaching system throughout the country.

Open education is a new form of education approved by the Ministry of Education, organized and implemented by the Central Radio and TV University, with the participation of the National Radio and TV University system, mainly for working adults. By the autumn of 2008, nearly 5.5 million students in China had registered for open education.

Ningxia Radio and TV University is the only adult college in Ningxia approved by the Ministry of Education and led by the people's government of the autonomous region. It is also one of the provincial TV universities approved by Central Radio and TV University to hold open education. Since the open education was held in the autumn of 2000, the whole region has enrolled more than 60,000 undergraduate and junior college students and graduated more than 34,000 students.

The learning form of open education is mainly that learners use various media teaching materials such as text teaching materials, audio-recording teaching materials and video-recording teaching materials, as well as digital, multimedia and interactive distance teaching platforms organically combined with computer networks, satellite TV networks and telecommunication networks for autonomous learning. Students can order and download online teaching resources at any time at home through the Internet and the distance teaching platforms of Central TV University and TV universities at all levels, communicate with classmates and teachers by online interactive means such as live broadcast and two-way video system, or participate in centralized face-to-face learning or group learning at teaching points.

Undergraduate course (starting point of junior college)-finance, law, elementary education, English (direction of education), Chinese language and literature (including normal direction), advertising, computer science and technology, mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation (direction of electromechanical integration system, intelligent control of electromechanical system), civil engineering (direction of roads and bridges, direction of construction engineering), water conservancy and hydropower engineering, business administration, accounting and health management.

Major-finance (direction of money and banking, finance and securities investment), law, nursing, accounting (direction of financial accounting), business administration (direction of business enterprise management, direction of marketing), administrative management, computer network technology (direction of network management, direction of web page design).

Courses are open majors-elementary education, Chinese language and literature, English (education direction), advertising (marketing communication direction), computer information management, digital media design and production, construction and management, engineering cost management, water conservancy and hydropower engineering and management, pharmacy, e-commerce, logistics management, property management, tourism (tourism management direction, hotel management direction) and numerical control technology (including electromechanical direction).

Enrollment target: 1, undergraduate (starting point of junior college): those with the same or similar major (including junior college) or above in national education series.

Registration procedures: hold the original ID card and diploma, two copies (copied on a piece of A4 paper in duplicate) and two one-inch bareheaded recent photos, and pay the first semester tuition.

Admission form: Applicants are required to take the entrance examination organized by TV universities in various cities and counties in the region (please consult the registration point for questions related to the examination). Examination time: March 3, 2009, 2: 00-6: 00 pm.

Fees: Tuition is charged by credits: undergraduate, with a minimum graduation credit of 765,438+0 credits, and each credit is 60 yuan. College (including open courses), with a minimum graduation credit of 76 credits, with 50 yuan per credit; Minimum graduation credit 1 14 credit, 40 yuan per credit. "One College Student in One Village, Ministry of Education" takes 30 yuan for each credit and 25 yuan for the exam.

Courses and examinations: the compulsory courses in the professional teaching plan (accounting for 60% of all courses) are offered by the Central Radio and TV University in a unified way, with a unified syllabus, textbooks, examinations and grading standards; Two courses, English and Computer Application Foundation, are organized and implemented by the Ministry of Education. Other courses are taught and tested by Ningxia TV University. .

Examination certification: the credit system is implemented, and the student status is valid for 8 years. According to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education, the minimum study period for two-year undergraduate and junior college majors is two and a half years. Those who meet the graduation conditions will be awarded the nationally recognized diploma of junior college or undergraduate course, and the Ministry of Education will give the diploma electronic registration. Registered courses are for single-subject learners, and those who pass the course examination can get the certificate of completion of single-subject courses. Open education undergraduate and junior college diplomas can be found on the only website of the Ministry of Education-China Higher Education Student Information Network (www.chsi.com.cn). Undergraduate graduates who meet the criteria for degree awarding and meet the requirements of relevant regulations may be awarded degree certificates by cooperative universities.
