The English portal of Hunan Provincial People's Government is the first English portal of provincial government in China, which was commissioned by Hunan Provincial People's Government to be built by Changsha Zhuo Yue Internet Information Service Co., Ltd. (Internet Information Service Research Center of Hunan University). Since the website was officially opened on June 2008 10, it has taken the development pattern of "government-led, university-supported and enterprise-operated", defined the purpose of "serving the government, enterprises and people", fully exerted the advantages of the platform, improved the service quality, expanded the functions of website publicity, open government affairs, consulting services and online services, and actively marketed to e-commerce and cities.
