The dormitory of the school adopts apartment management, which is divided into four rooms and six to seven rooms. Wardrobes, bookshelves and other daily necessities in the dormitory are fully equipped, and there are TV, telephone and campus computer network interfaces for students to use.
The school canteen punches in to sell meals. The food is rich and varied, with complete north-south flavor, reasonable proportion of high, medium and low-grade dishes, and the ethnic canteen can meet the dietary requirements of students of all ethnic groups and levels.
There are banks, post offices, school hospitals and department stores on campus, which are adjacent to Beijing Hualian Supermarket, with good living conditions and service facilities.
Campus girls' dormitory:
In the south of the school, there are mainly undergraduate girls, and there are also male dormitories for graduate students in building 10. The best female dormitories in Jiaotong University are buildings 5 and 6, with six rooms and 900 accommodation fees. The facilities are relatively new. Other girls' dormitories in the south of the school are similar in configuration, all in and out, with outdated facilities, six rooms, and very few are four rooms with balconies.
In-school boys' dormitory:
The boys' dormitories in the school are concentrated in the north campus, and many dormitories have them. The overall indoor facilities in the north campus are better than the girls' dormitory in the south campus. Last year, the North Campus just built dormitory No.22, with six rooms, getting on and off the bed (900 per year). Building 14 has a private bathroom with balcony, and the interior was just renovated last year. I don't know if it will be more expensive to replace the four-room bed table with a new one. The other boys' dormitories in the north of the school are basically the same, with bunk beds and good settings. There are six rooms and no private bathroom, and the annual cost is 900.
