Those who have studied traditional medicine for three years or obtained specialized knowledge after years of medical practice may take the qualification examination for practicing doctors or practicing assistant doctors after passing the examination and being recommended by traditional medical professional organizations or medical, preventive and health care institutions determined by the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level. The contents and methods of the examination shall be formulated separately by the administrative department of health of the State Council.
In any of the following circumstances, the deferred information shall not be accepted for the qualification examination of registered doctors:
1, graduated from health vocational high school;
2. Graduates majoring in basic medicine, forensic medicine, nursing, auxiliary medicine, medical technology and other related medicine, pharmacy and medical management;
3, graduated from the medical profession, but the syllabus and professional training direction or graduation certificate indicate the non-medical direction;
4. Graduated from a medical major, but the syllabus and professional training direction or degree certificate prove that the degree is not a medical major;
5. Non-active servicemen enter the examination with the probationary certificate issued by military medical, prevention and health care institutions or sign up for the doctor qualification examination in the army;
6. Servicemen hold a probationary period certificate issued by local medical, prevention and health care institutions;
7. Sign up for the doctor qualification examination with a "Professional Certificate" or "Academic Certificate".
