Gong Zu Juzi, a native of Gushi, was one of the 72 disciples of Confucius. In the 27th year of Tang Kaiyuan (739), he was given the title of "Qi Sibo", and in the 9th year of Ming Jiajing (1530), he was also named "the son of the sage Gong Zu".

Chun Shen Jun, a native of Huangchuan, was Ling Yin of the State of Chu during the Warring States Period, one of the four sons of the Warring States Period, and the ancestor of Jiangnan culture.
