Jiangxi University of Science and Technology Ganzhou West Campus Management Committee is the secondary teaching and administrative unit of the school. The west campus adopts the mode of extended management of various functional departments of the school. According to the unified planning and development requirements of the school, combined with the regional characteristics and the needs of its own work, the campus has established a relatively independent, streamlined and efficient management system under the unified leadership of the school. As an important part of the school, the management committee of the West Campus undertakes many tasks such as the study and life of freshmen. According to the general idea of "state-owned resources, school sponsorship, brand-new mode and market operation", the management committee of West Campus has implemented the operation mechanism of "unified leadership, adjustment of functions, rationalization of relations, optimization of structure, setting up posts according to needs, appointment according to posts, strict examination and contract management", combined with the characteristics of new students, adhered to the teaching quality as the center, implemented semi-military and semi-closed management, and constantly improved the conditions and environment for running schools.

Relying on the school, the West Campus has relatively independent resources for running schools. The campus area is about 200 mu. In 2006, more than 300 mu of land was newly acquired, and the campus area will reach more than 500 mu in the future. This building covers an area of 20,000 square meters. The campus has complete teaching and living facilities, with the teaching building area of 18 147m2 and the student dormitory area of 2 1086m2. There are computer room, language lab, multimedia, network center, student canteen, halal canteen, bathroom, boiler room, wind and rain playground, track and field, office building and other necessary infrastructure for running a school.

The Management Committee of West Campus implements the director responsibility system, and consists of four functional management departments: Party and Government Office, Student Affairs Office (Youth League Committee), Academic Affairs Office and Security Logistics Office, with student management, teaching management, logistics management and security management as the main contents and strengthening students' ideological and political education and scientific and cultural knowledge education as the main tasks.

The west campus of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology is a modern new campus.
