The Ministry of Education and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government * * * set up colleges and universities in the central and western regions to build basic capacity-building projects. The school integrates ten disciplines, namely, literature, history, philosophy, economics, management, law, science, engineering, teaching and art, and is located in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, which has a profound historical and cultural background and is known as "a treasure of things and outstanding people". 2. Shangrao Teachers College
Shangrao Teachers College, formerly Shangrao Teachers College, was founded in 1958. 1959 was renamed northeastern Jiangxi University and closed during the Cultural Revolution. 1977 school resumed classes, and was upgraded to Shangrao Normal College with the approval of the Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Provincial People's Government in March 2000. In June, 2005, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
