College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University; Ningbo University of Science and Technology is located in Cixi City, Zhejiang Province, and is jointly organized by Ningbo University and Ningbo Forward-looking Education Technology Development Company.
A full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government and filed by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Education; 20 15 was listed as a pilot college for application-oriented undergraduate construction in Zhejiang Province.
College of Science and Technology of Ningbo University was established in April 1999. It is the first state-owned private secondary college in Zhejiang Province to carry out the pilot reform of the university system. In June 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as the first batch of independent colleges in Zhejiang Province.
On April 20 12, the right to award bachelor's degree was granted; 20 17, completed the acceptance of the standard setting of Zhejiang Independent College; 2065438+September 2009, the whole school moved to Cixi. In 20021year, the college ranked sixth in the comprehensive strength ranking of national independent colleges in Wu Shulian.
By April, 2023, the College had nine secondary colleges, including Humanities College, Information Engineering College, Economics and Law College, Management College, Design and Art College, Life Science and Materials Chemistry College, Mechanical Engineering and Automation College, Architecture and Engineering College and Basic/Marxist College.
There are 48 undergraduate majors, covering 9 disciplines such as economy, law, education, literature, management, science, engineering, medicine and art, and basically forming a discipline system with complete categories, reasonable structure and complementary advantages.
As of August, 2022, there were 737 faculty members in * *, including 520 teaching and research staff, 45 with full senior titles, and 37 with sub-senior titles/kloc-0, of which 35% were teachers with sub-senior titles or above. Doctoral degree personnel 143, master degree personnel 3 10, and 87. 12% of the teachers have graduate degrees.
