Zhongshan City is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province and one of the four prefecture-level cities without districts in China. It is the only prefecture-level city in China named after a great man. Zhongshan is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. More than 800,000 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan live in 87 countries and regions on five continents. Known as the hometown of overseas Chinese and the hometown of folk art in Guangdong Province (Cantonese Opera). The city has maintained the fifth economic aggregate in Guangdong Province for many years. Zhongshan, Shunde, Nanhai and Dongguan are called the Four Little Dragons of Guangdong.
