The enrollment batches of colleges and universities in Sichuan Province (excluding arts and sports majors) are set as five batches: undergraduate advance approval, undergraduate first batch, undergraduate second batch, specialist advance approval and specialist advance approval.
Colleges and universities admitted in advance include: China People's Liberation Army and Chinese People's Armed Police Force colleges, national defense student enrollment colleges, public security colleges, judicial colleges, normal colleges directly under the Ministry of Education, air force, navy and civil aviation recruitment colleges, Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), free medical orientation (undergraduate) enrollment colleges and majors, comprehensive evaluation pilot colleges and majors, and other colleges and majors with special requirements.
The first batch of universities admitted to undergraduate course are universities directly under the Ministry of Education, universities built by "2 1 1 Project", key universities established by the former ministries and commissions of various provinces, and universities and majors approved to participate in this batch of admission.
The second batch of undergraduate courses are ordinary colleges and universities except the first batch of undergraduate courses and the first batch of undergraduate courses.
The institutions admitted in advance are pilot colleges for training non-commissioned officers, public security colleges and aviation service majors, as well as maritime colleges and provincial-level normal students at public expense.
College-approved institutions are all higher vocational (junior college) institutions and majors except college-approved in advance.
