Guangxi University
Guangxi University, referred to as "Xida University" for short, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the first batch of national "double first-class" world-class disciplines, "21/engineering" key construction universities, Guangxi first-class discipline construction universities, and "one province, one school" national key construction university alliance in the central and western regions.
Guangxi Normal University
Guangxi Normal University, referred to as "Guangxi Normal University", is located in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It has been selected into the basic capacity building project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions, the national graduate program for building high-level universities, the national training program of the Ministry of Education, the excellent teacher training program, the new engineering research and practice program, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program, the national characteristic specialty construction site and the "Hundred Schools Project" of China.
It is a comprehensive university with coordinated development of disciplines, a scholarship receiving institution of China government for overseas students in China, a national cultural quality education base for college students, a demonstration base for studying in China by the Ministry of Education, a national demonstration university for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, a part of Jingjiang Wangcheng Scenic Area, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, and the earliest cultural education center in Guangxi history.
