Changsha University of Science and Technology is a multidisciplinary university with engineering, science, management, economics, literature, law, art and other disciplines as the main body, undergraduate education as the main body, postdoctoral research stations, and the right to confer doctoral degrees and the right to exempt master students from examinations. It is a provincial-level key university determined by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Transport, and belongs to an ordinary undergraduate college.
