The affiliated middle school of Beijing Jiaotong University (East Campus) was formerly Tao Xingzhi Middle School in Beijing. Haidian District's 13th Five-Year Education Plan 20 17 identified the East Campus of the High School Attached to Jiaotong University as a school with artistic characteristics, and built a high-quality school to train artistic talents in junior and senior high schools. The East Campus has 96 teaching staff, 22 classes in junior and senior high schools, and 670 students (including 350 ordinary students and 320 art students). Classes with artistic characteristics are offered in grades one to three. East Campus "builds a happy school with all unique artistic qualities" in the school-running concept of "walking with the United States".
