Tianjin University of Science and Technology, located in Tianjin, is a key university jointly established by the central and local governments. It has been selected into the national "11plan", the Ministry of Education's "excellent engineer education and training plan", Tianjin's "double-first-class" construction university, and the national master's degree program for building high-level universities.
The National Key Discipline Project, the National New Engineering Research and Practice Project, the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Project and the China Municipal Government Scholarship Project are members of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance and the Belt and Road University Food Education Science and Technology Alliance.
