Changchun Vocational and Technical College, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, is a public comprehensive vocational and technical college approved by the people's government of Jilin Province. It has been selected into the national model vocational college construction plan, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units of the Ministry of Education, and the construction unit of the 20 16 Jilin Province modern vocational education reform and development demonstration school.

On April 20th, 20001year, Changchun Economic and Trade School, Changchun Light Industry School, Changchun Electromechanical Technology School, Changchun Computer School, Changchun No.6 Secondary Specialized School, Changchun No.4 Secondary Specialized School, Changchun Radio and TV University Affiliated Vocational High School, Changchun United Vocational High School and Changchun Tourism Vocational Secondary School were merged to form Changchun Senior Vocational and Technical School.
