Four. By June 9, 2024, there were four universities in Hunan 2 1 1, namely:

National University of Defense Technology, located in Changsha, Hunan Province, is the first institution to enter the national "2 1 1 project" construction plan;

Central South University, located in Changsha, Hunan Province, is listed as one of the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21/project".

Hunan University, located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, ranks among the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "21/project".

Hunan Normal University, located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, was selected as the first batch of national "2 1 1 Project" key construction universities and national "double-class" construction universities.
