The College of Continuing Education of Anhui University was founded in 1950s, but it was closed due to the Cultural Revolution, and 198 1 resumed, 1983 began to hold correspondence education. 1988 took the lead in setting up an adult education college among local universities in China, and it was renamed as the College of Continuing Education in 2002. Over the past 30 years, under the guidance of the idea of "basing on Anhui, serving Anhui, strictly managing and ensuring quality", relying on general higher education and giving full play to the overall advantages of comprehensive universities, adult higher education in schools has initially formed a multi-level pattern of upgrading from senior high school to junior college, undergraduate college to junior college and junior college to undergraduate college, and has various forms of running schools such as correspondence, amateur, self-study exam and on-the-job training.
