Ankang college is two books. Ankang University has different enrollment batches in each province, including one batch of undergraduate students, two batches of undergraduate students and an ordinary class. Ankang College is the only provincial full-time undergraduate college in Ankang, whose main task is to cultivate applied talents with high comprehensive quality and innovative spirit. Its predecessor was Ankang College, which was founded in 1958. 1963 closed due to national economic difficulties and resumed in August 1978. 1984 was renamed Ankang Teachers College with the approval of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government in June, and was transformed into Ankang College with the approval of the Ministry of Education in February, 2006.

Ankang City is located in the south of Shaanxi Province, between Qin and Ba, on the bank of Han River, adjacent to Hubei, Chongqing and Sichuan provinces, and in the geometric center of Guanzhong, Chengyu and Jianghan economic zones, with pleasant climate, abundant resources and convenient transportation.
