Party member's organizational relationship refers to party member's subordinate relationship to the Party's grass-roots organizations.

Every party member must join a branch, group or other specific organization of the Party. Party member, who has a fixed work unit and has established a party organization, is generally incorporated into the party organization of his unit. In party member, if there is no fixed work unit or a party organization has not been established in the unit, it is generally incorporated into the party organization in its habitual residence or public employment and talent service institutions, parks and buildings.

If party member's work unit and habitual residence change, or go out to study, work and live for more than 6 months and the location is relatively fixed, the organizational relationship should be transferred. Grass-roots Party committees with the power to examine and approve party member's establishment can directly transfer and accept party member's organizational relations nationwide. Party organizations can take appropriate measures to check party member's archives when accepting party member's organizational relations. Party member, whose organizational relationship has been transferred out but not received, is still managed by the original party organization. Party organizations shall not refuse to turn to party member without reason.
