Beijing Technology and Business University (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Technology and Business University) was formed by the merger of Beijing Institute of Light Industry, Beijing Business School and Machinery Industry Management Cadre College in June 1999. Beijing Technology and Business University is a key multi-disciplinary university in Beijing and the first batch of national master's degree awarding units approved by the State Council.
