South China University of Technology, located in Guangzhou, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. The campus is divided into Wushan Campus, University Town Campus and Guangzhou International Campus. First place in the national civilized campus.

The school has a long history, which can be traced back to 19 18, the first Class A industrial school founded in Guangdong Province. 1952 the universities for nationalities were formally established during the adjustment and became one of the four major engineering universities in new China. 1960 became a national key university. 198 1 was approved by the State Council as one of the first units to award doctoral and master's degrees.

1993 is the first university jointly established by the Ministry and the province in China; 1995 entered the ranks of "2 1 1 project"; 200 1, entering the ranks of "985 Project"; 20 17 was selected as a "double-class" first-class university, and 20 18 academic ranking of world universities 20 1-300.
