(1) Looking for a job
In recent years, there are more than 800,000 college entrance examination candidates in Shandong Province every year. There are about 80 ordinary colleges and 30 adult colleges and universities in the province. There are far more junior colleges than undergraduate courses. Every time I graduate, finding a job is a headache for graduates and parents. It's hard to find a job, so the job fair can't squeeze in. Many units (especially state organs and institutions) require a bachelor's degree or above in recruitment, and junior colleges are not qualified to apply for or take exams. For example, many schools require a bachelor's degree or above in recruiting logistics managers and experimenters, and some primary school teachers require a master's or doctoral degree. There are basically no opportunities for undergraduate courses, and most of them are only partial efforts. Many ideal job opportunities will be lost because of academic qualifications. Of course, a high degree does not necessarily lead to a successful career. Many people who have no education are equally successful in starting a business, but in today's society, the higher the education, the more job opportunities and the faster the development.
(2) Wage classification
At present, China's state organs and institutions are basically based on academic qualifications to set wages. The undergraduate salary is one grade higher than the junior college salary, and the more standardized enterprises also set their salaries according to their academic qualifications. For example, it is normal to work in a foreign-funded enterprise or a well-known domestic enterprise in Suzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen, and its post salary is higher than the specialist salary. The bonus and promotion opportunities for undergraduate and above are relatively more than the specialist salary. Of course, some enterprises, especially some non-standard enterprises, do not set posts based on academic qualifications.
(3) personnel reform
Many units (especially state organs and institutions) promote cadres and campaign leaders with a bachelor's degree or above. Even if they are fully qualified, they are not qualified to stand for election, but they just can't seize the opportunity. For example, most colleges compete for middle-level leadership positions, such as department heads, which basically require master's or doctoral degrees. Many units, such as schools or courts, will stipulate a certain number of years (even some primary schools). In-service personnel who fail to obtain a bachelor's degree or above within the specified period of time will be laid off directly in the personnel reform, that is, even if they find a job below junior college, they may face the danger of being laid off and unemployed in their future work.
(4) Postgraduate entrance examination
With a bachelor's degree, you can apply for graduate students directly without a degree certificate, while junior college students can only apply for graduate students with the same academic ability two years after graduation from junior college. Although the state stipulates that they are allowed to apply for graduate students with the same academic ability two years after graduating from junior college, many universities are actually reluctant to recruit junior college students, and will set obstacles in many aspects, requiring them to publish papers and take additional specialized courses, and what level of English is reached. In addition, an on-the-job master's degree requires a bachelor's degree. If it is a junior college, there is no chance to get an in-service master's degree in the future.
(5) Textual research
Vocational qualification certificates in many countries require bachelor degree or above. For example, at present, the judicial examination requires notaries, lawyers, judges and prosecutors to have a bachelor's degree or above, which can be recognized by the state regardless of their majors. For example, many lawyers are not law majors, but Chinese, economics and chemical engineering. However, if you are only a specialist, no matter which major you graduated from or what background you have, you will never be a notary, lawyer, judge or prosecutor in your life. Gone are the days when judges, prosecutors and notaries used to rely on some special skills.
(6) Civil Service Examination
Civil servants have stable jobs, high salaries, little pressure and great power. Nowadays, many people want to be civil servants, and the Ministry of Personnel stipulates that civil servants need to pass the civil service examination. At present, most civil servants require a bachelor's degree or above to apply for the exam. Usually only grassroots and hard work are left to specialists.
(7) Studying abroad
Nowadays, many countries recognize our undergraduate education. With a bachelor's degree, you can directly apply for higher-level education abroad, without wasting time abroad, which will save a lot of money.
(8) Evaluation of professional titles
At present, almost all kinds of professional titles are linked to academic qualifications, and there is basically no opportunity to evaluate senior professional titles below the junior college level. At present, the leaders in charge of many units are almost all people with senior titles. Without senior professional titles, you will lose many opportunities to be in charge of leadership, while without undergraduate courses, you will lose the opportunity to evaluate senior professional titles.
(9) Others
The above introduces some common basic usages of undergraduate course. No matter what kind of undergraduate or major, without higher education, life will lose many opportunities. In fact, a high degree of education is necessary in many aspects in the real society. Even if young people talk about the right person, they usually have to consider the other person's education. Even if you don't consider the object, the other parents have to consider it. Even after graduation, many people want to spend more money to get a high degree to arm themselves.
In a word, the undergraduate degree recognized by a country is undoubtedly very important in today's society, and it usually seems useless. When necessary, it will not only cost more time and money, but also lose many opportunities in life. Therefore, it is suggested that college students should consider which way to obtain a bachelor's degree when they enter school. They can consider taking the self-study exam when they are in college, but it is very difficult and the social recognition rate is low. When they graduate, they just want to take the general college entrance examination and take the exam.
