Central South University's 2022 Undergraduate Admissions Charter Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 In order to ensure the smooth progress of undergraduate enrollment (hereinafter referred to as enrollment) and earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of schools and candidates, these Articles of Association are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Education Law of the People's Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education and the Articles of Association of Central South University, and in combination with the actual situation of the school.
Article 2 The name of the school is Central South University (Central South University in English, abbreviated as CSU in English), which is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. In 20001year, it was identified as a national "985 Project" high-level university, and in 200017, it was selected as a world-class university construction university with its registered address at No.932, Lushan South Road, Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, with the zip code of 4 10083.
Dundee International College of Central South University (hereinafter referred to as Dundee International College) is a non-independent Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school affiliated to Central South University and university of dundee, England, approved by the Ministry of Education.
Article 3 Undergraduate enrollment categories of schools include regular classes, strong foundation programs, comprehensive evaluation enrollment, national special programs, special programs of colleges and universities, students walking, art majors, high-level sports teams, sports training majors, Tibetan classes in the Mainland, classes in Xinjiang in the Mainland, preparatory classes for ethnic minorities, students taking the Hong Kong Diploma Examination, students walking in Macao, students taking the "Four Schools Joint Examination" in Macao, students from Taiwan Province Province, and students from overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Article 4 Undergraduate students in our school who meet the graduation requirements of this major within the prescribed study period shall be awarded the undergraduate diploma of Central South University; In line with the relevant provisions of the school's degree granting, the bachelor's degree certificate will be awarded to undergraduate graduates of ordinary higher education.
Undergraduate students of Dundee International College have completed all the teaching links of the training plan as required within the study period specified by Central South University. Those who meet the graduation requirements of the school will be awarded the undergraduate diploma of Central South University. Those who meet the conditions for conferring school degrees will be awarded a bachelor's degree from Central South University and a bachelor's degree from university of dundee.
Article 5 Schools should fully implement the "Sunshine Project" for college enrollment in accordance with the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Doing a Good Job in Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities and the Regulations on Enrollment of Ordinary Colleges and Universities promulgated by the Ministry of Education this year, and comprehensively measure candidates' moral, intellectual, physical and artistic work in line with the principles of fairness, justice and openness, and select the best candidates.
Chapter II Organizational Structure and Responsibilities
Article 6 The school shall set up a leading group for undergraduate enrollment to co-ordinate the enrollment work of the school, formulate and make decisions on major enrollment matters, and set up an undergraduate enrollment work committee and an undergraduate enrollment supervision office. The Undergraduate Admissions Committee is composed of leaders in charge of the school, heads of relevant departments, representatives of teachers, alumni and students, and is fully responsible for implementing the policies of the Ministry of Education on enrollment and studying major issues in enrollment. The undergraduate enrollment supervision office is responsible for strengthening enrollment supervision and supervising the enrollment work of the school.
Article 7 The Undergraduate Admissions Office is the permanent working body of the school to organize and implement the enrollment work, and is responsible for the daily work of undergraduate enrollment under the leadership of the Undergraduate Admissions Committee.
Chapter III Enrollment Plan
Article 8 Schools shall, in combination with national policy guidance and according to the needs of social and economic development, make overall consideration of factors such as the quantity and quality of students in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), promote education equity, formulate enrollment plans for different provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and report them to the provincial enrollment examination institutions for publicity.
Article 9 The school reservation plan shall not exceed 1% of the total enrollment plan, which is used to adjust the imbalance of students on the unified examination line in various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and solve the enrollment problem of candidates with the same score. When using the reserved plan, adhere to the principle of quality first, openness and transparency, and mainly put it in provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) where high-quality students are concentrated and the college entrance examination admission rate is relatively low.
Chapter IV Access Rules
Tenth schools according to the provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) enrollment plan and the proportion of students to determine the proportion of investment. Volunteering to file according to the batch order, the proportion of filing shall be controlled in principle within 120% of the plans announced by the provinces, and the proportion of filing shall be controlled in principle within 105% of the plans announced by the provinces in parallel volunteer.
Article 11 When a school files, it recognizes the policy-based bonus points of the national college entrance examination confirmed by the admissions departments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), but the cumulative score shall not exceed 20 points, and the majors are only arranged on the basis of the original score of the college entrance examination, regardless of the policy-based bonus points. All college entrance examination bonus items and scores will not be used for enrollment items that our school does not arrange provincial enrollment plans.
Article 12 For enrollment types such as national special plans and college special plans, when the number of candidates who meet the requirements of school filing exceeds the number of announced plans, they will be admitted in turn according to the enrollment plan and the sorting rules of the provinces where the students are located, and those who are not admitted will be dismissed.
Thirteenth schools arrange candidates to enroll in majors according to the original scores of the college entrance examination and professional volunteers, and there is no professional grade difference. Under the same conditions, candidates with policy extra points and candidates with high scores in Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages will be given priority in determining their majors. When the candidates' professional volunteers can't be fully satisfied, if they are transferred by major, they will be transferred to other majors that are not fully recorded. If you don't obey professional adjustment, you will be dismissed. In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, schools implement the rules of "enrollment plan 1 1 1".
Article 14 For candidates who are originally from provinces with comprehensive reform of college entrance examination, the subjects selected by candidates must meet the requirements of professional subjects selected by the school.
Fifteenth in accordance with the order of volunteering to fill in the batch, in the case of insufficient students for the first volunteer candidates, the non-first volunteer candidates will be selected from high to low according to the original scores of the candidates in the college entrance examination until the student source plan is completed. If the number of qualified non-first-choice candidates is still insufficient, volunteers will be collected. According to the batch submitted by parallel volunteer, unfinished projects will also solicit volunteers. If the recruitment of volunteers is still insufficient, the remaining plans will be transferred to other provinces with good student quality to complete the enrollment plan.
Sixteenth admission, the previous students and students alike; School enrollment majors do not limit the proportion of male and female students; At Dundee International College, the foreign language department only recruits candidates whose foreign language is English (see the relevant enrollment brochure of the school for details), and other enrollment categories do not restrict candidates from taking foreign languages. However, after the candidates enter the school, they all arrange English teaching for the public.
Article 17 In accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education, corresponding enrollment brochures shall be formulated and accepted for enrollment types such as school strong foundation plan, specialist plan, comprehensive evaluation admission, walk-in students, art majors, high-level sports teams, sports training majors, students taking Hong Kong secondary school diploma examination, walk-in students from Macau, students from Taiwan Province Province and Dundee International College.
Article 18 Physical examination requirements shall be implemented in accordance with the Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination of Enrollment in Colleges and Universities (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, China Disabled Persons' Federation [2003] No.3) and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education and the General Office of the Ministry of Health on Issues Related to Cancellation of Hepatitis B Examination in Enrollment in Colleges and Universities (Church [2010] No.2).
Chapter V Supplementary Provisions
Nineteenth freshmen, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the school entrance qualification examination. Students who fail to pass the review shall be dealt with according to the relevant provisions of the enrollment work.
Twentieth schools in accordance with state regulations, follow the principle of territoriality, and collect tuition and accommodation fees according to the standards approved by the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Hunan Provincial Department of Education.
Twenty-first schools set up a "green channel" for new students with family difficulties. The relevant national student loans, scholarships, grants and other student assistance measures shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Education, Hunan Province and the school.

Twenty-third schools do not organize or entrust any social institutions, intermediaries or individuals to enroll students, do not organize or participate in pre-test counseling and exam-oriented training, and do not charge any fees other than those stipulated by the state. For social organizations, intermediaries or individuals engaged in illegal enrollment, enrollment propaganda, pre-test counseling and exam-oriented training in the name of Central South University, the school reserves the right to pursue their responsibilities according to law.
Article 24 After the promulgation of these Articles of Association, if the enrollment policies of the Ministry of Education and provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are adjusted, the school will formulate corresponding enrollment policies and make a separate announcement.
Article 25 The Articles of Association shall be interpreted by the Undergraduate Admissions Office of Central South University.
Article 26 The Articles of Association shall come into force as of the date of promulgation. The original enrollment regulations shall be abolished at the same time.
