WES(world e educationservices), founded in 1974, is a non-profit organization in the United States. It is the largest qualification appraisal company in North America, and its appraisal report is widely used in American universities.

1.At the end of 2009, the Center for Degree and Postgraduate Education Development of the Ministry of Education of China officially signed a cooperation agreement with WES. Holders of educational degrees and diplomas in China need to go to the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education for certification first, and under what circumstances they need to submit WES certification. According to the information publicly compiled by students studying in the United States, dozens of American universities have required international students to provide third-party certification of materials. Include Columbia University, California State Polytechnic University Pomona, University of Southern California, loyola university chicago, etc. Even community colleges in the United States require international students to provide proof of grades. In the United States, WE S is the company with the largest degree certification. In addition to ECE and JosefSilny, some universities in the United States require third-party certification, while others require WES or ECE certification. At present, there are relatively many students applying for WES certification in China.

2. University of Toronto undergraduate application requires international students to provide Tsinghua certification. The so-called Tsinghua certification means that prospective international students submit their transcripts, diplomas, degree certificates and other related materials to the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education for certification, and then the certification center submits the certification materials to the school. Because the center used to work in Tsinghua, it is commonly known as Tsinghua Certification. WES certification is also required for the postgraduate application of the University of Ottawa, that is, after the relevant materials of China prospective international students are certified in Tsinghua, the certification center will send the certification materials to the WES certification center for further certification, and finally it will take about two months to deliver the double-certified materials to the school by express delivery.
