Distribution of Hebei University of Technology Campus:

There is Beichen Campus: (Undergraduate students are there, and graduate students from four universities are also studying there)

Hongqiao Campus: East Campus, North Campus, South Campus (City College) and North Campus. Now all the graduate students from four universities are here. There are undergraduates in the east campus, but it is unclear in the south campus.

Hebei University of Technology, located in Tianjin, is a key construction university of "2 1 1 project" which is oriented to industries and multidisciplinary development. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Hebei Provincial Government and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government (the university is set up by the provincial department), the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" and the Engineering University for Basic Capacity Building in the Midwest. The school's predecessor was Beiyang Technical School, which was established in 1903. It is the earliest engineering university in China, and 1995 was renamed as Hebei University of Technology. 1996 entered the national "2 1 1 project" construction ranks for the first time. The national "2 1 1 project" in 200 1, 2006, 20 12 was passed in the first, second and third phases respectively.
